In Moscow, for the first time, clinics, hospitals, My Documents centers and Wedding Palaces were decorated for the New Year. This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova.

"A large-scale project "Winter in Moscow" has started in the capital. The city streets are lit up with festive illumination, festival sites are holding their first events, and we all feel the approach of the most magical holiday of the year. In anticipation of the New Year, this year we decorated children's and adult clinics in each district of the city, hospitals, "My Documents" centers, and Wedding Palaces for the first time. And the usual New Year's route around the capital will be supplemented by "Kind Christmas trees" with warm wishes. In addition, for the first time we are opening a winter family festival in the Palace of Pioneers on Vorobyovy Gory," –– the vice-mayor noted.

The My Documents centers have prepared not only New Year's illumination, but also a festive program for Muscovites. Guests will be able to attend master classes on making New Year's compositions, Christmas tree decorations, painting pictures on canvas and with epoxy resin, as well as photographs of the iris of the eye and much more.

Adult and children's clinics will be decorated with fairy-tale displays with gingerbread houses, New Year's balls and decorated Christmas trees. In addition, festive illumination will appear in the N. V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Care, the N. I. Pirogov City Clinical Hospital No. 1, and the Kommunarka Moscow Multidisciplinary Clinical Center.

In the most popular locations of Muscovites and visitors to the capital - TSUM, Ilyinskiye Vorota, Neglinnaya Street, the Central Children's Store, Tverskoy Boulevard and Smolenskaya Square - "Kind Christmas Trees" will appear. On each of them you can read warm wishes for the coming year.

The Winter in Moscow project is the main event of the season, which will unite all the entertainment of the winter capital from December 1 to February 28. This winter, everyone is invited to remember the traditions, warm up with tea and hot buns, skate, ski and tube, watch ice shows, give gifts to people who find themselves in a difficult life situation, show concern for those who now need it so much. Muscovites and guests of the capital are offered a huge selection of activities in the fresh air and in the city's cultural and sports institutions. The atmosphere of winter traditions will spread throughout Moscow - in total, over 1,900 locations will be open. The largest winter festivals of the capital will organically fit into the project - Journey to Christmas, Moscow Estates, Moscow Tea Party, City of Light, Snow and Ice in Moscow and many others.
