Symptoms of hepatitis C
19.12.2025Hepatitis C — a disease that is often called the “silent killer” due to its long asymptomatic course.
What should you pay attention to?
The acute phase can be disguised as fatigue or a cold:
- Constant weakness, fatigue.
- Heaviness in the right side.
- Decreased appetite, nausea.
- Aching joints, low fever.
- In case of severe liver damage: jaundice, dark urine, light-colored stool.
Important: For many, the disease becomes chronic and damages the liver undetected for years.
Don't wait for obvious symptoms! Hepatitis C is curable, and modern therapy is highly effective. The earlier the virus is detected, the better the prognosis and the easier the treatment.
