World Patient Safety Day 2024

In 2024, the Moscow Department of Healthcare is holding an event for World Patient Safety Day. The event will be held at the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution "Research and Clinical Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine", where a tour and a round table on the topic "Early diagnostics - the path to successful treatment" are planned. The participants will be leading specialists, patient organizations and public figures.

The following events are planned as part of the campaign:

• Survey for patients and health workers on patient safety (from 1 to 30 September 2024). Take part in the survey

• Competition "Leader of Quality in Healthcare" for teams that have implemented successful projects to improve the safety and quality of medicine. Applications are accepted until October 1, 2024.  More about the competition

Moscow medical institutions will also host master classes, lectures, thematic meetings and open days on patient safety issues. Patient organizations and volunteers are involved in organizing the events.
